Default What's the worst that could happen?

What's the most egregious case of bad luck that ever happened to you in game?

I mean behind ending up in a PuG with a warrior who has more att. points in water magic than in strength.

ie. Let's use today's example as a case study. The biggest thing I've been waiting for in GW since the introduction of ZV quests, is Drakkar Lake. I tried this a few times pre-7 heroes and got owned.
I've been looking forward to this one for a while.
So what do they do, they drop it AFTER a 3 day weekend. I'm on the West Coast (a fact Anet should be sensitive to) and by the time I'm home and able to devote time to a VQ, it's hard to find a group and finding a good group is very difficult.

So I've had my rant about how the cookie crumbles, what about you?
